Marrakech, Morocco

Nestled at the foot of the Atlas mountains is the imperial city of Marrakech. Some might find it too large, noisy, and smelly, but this city is also rich in history and local culture. You’re definitely in for a very interesting experience when you walk through the city amidst fire jugglers, carpet salesmen, and noisy souqs. You can also check out places like the Saadian Tombs and the Majorelle gardens. If you’re not used to tropical heat it’s best to avoid the summer season and go to Marrakech in the cooler months of September to May.
