Banfora, Burkina Faso has beautiful places in it and you sure wouldn’t want to miss the chance to see the “Peaks of Sindou”. Classified by the UN as a world treasure, it is a sandstorm chain attracting tourists and musicians of different countries.

These sandstorm chain is quite remote. The way to Sindou is navigable only in dry season, that’s why it can be very dusty. The Peaks of Sindou can be considered as impressive art pieces of nature. It spans around tree kilometers with slim and tall rock towers. It was believed to be inhabited until the sixteenth century. Ruins of villages and a castle can also be seen. People restrict admittance in the Sindou because of their belief that it is sacred.
